Due to cooperation between School of Khimchyn (Kosiv district, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, Ukraine) and Ismet Inönü Ortaokulu Müdürlügü School (Kozan, Adana, Turkey) which was founded in 2017 four pupils of this school (Marta Kateryniak, Oleksandra Atamaniuk, Sviatoslav Lysak and Denys Rozvadovskyi), headmaster of the school (Valentyna Rozvadovska), teacher of foreign language (Ilona Biliichuk), primary school and choreography teacher (Maryna Pavliuk), foreign languages and external independent evaluation methodologist of methodical office of Kosiv District State Administration`s Educational Department (Svitlana Tsykaliak) visited Turkey last week (26.04-01.05).
The main idea of this visit is developing knowledges in such spheres: education, culture, religion, history, policy and economy; improvement of foreign language skills.
Promoters of this common Ukrainian-Turkish Project are a foreign language teacher of the School of Khimchyn Ilona Biliichuk and a foreign language teacher of the Ismet Inönü Ortaokulu Müdürlügü School Esra Şener.
During being in Kozan delegation from Kosiv have visited a lot of historical, religious, educational and governmental places. Also we have tasted traditional cuisine and learned about Turkish traditions and customs. Ukrainian pupils have had an opportunity to present their school and country while their meeting with teachers and pupils of the Ismet Inönü Ortaokulu Müdürlügü School.
Ukrainian delegation says ‘Thank you’ to all organizers and participants of this project in Turkey (Esra Şener, Sevgi Ünüvar Akar,Oğuz Şengel, Halil Öztürk, Levent Şener, Emrah Gümüş, Erkan Karınlı). The trip has helped our students and teachers to overcome their language barrier and knowledge. In addition, we have met new friends whose hospitality and sincerity impressed us.
